Design journey
My path in branding and graphic design really began at UTSA. Working with the Roadrunners taught me how visuals can carry a story, connect a community, and build pride. That experience in San Antonio sparked my passion for bringing brands to life.
Transitioning to the XFL marked a pivotal point in my career, where I embraced the challenge of designing within the fast-paced realm of professional sports. This role not only expanded my technical proficiency but also deepened my understanding of audience engagement strategies, shaping my approach to creating impactful visual communications.
Today, as Director of Graphic Design for the UTEP Miners, I bring a wealth of expertise to amplify the university’s brand presence and enhance its visual identity across various platforms. My previous experience in broadcast and video production has equipped me to deliver a seamless game day experience for UTEP sporting events. Every layer of my career has reinforced my focus on crafting strategic, meaningful design that helps build a brand our university, athletes, and El Paso community can be proud to represent.

Exploring its hidden gems, embracing its culture, and connecting with the community influence how I see the world and approach both my work and life. Moving back to El Paso from San Antonio has only deepened my appreciation for the people and places that make this city home.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a lifelong wrestling and proud San Antonio Spurs fan, always inspired by the energy, emotion, and storytelling that sports bring to life. I also find inspiration in the worlds of Marvel and Star Wars, where imagination knows no bounds. And when it’s time to unwind, The Office is my go-to for a good laugh and a chance to not take life too seriously.
At the heart of it all, my family is my greatest inspiration and constant source of encouragement. Whether it’s a weekend drive for our favorite drinks or a quiet movie night at home with our four dogs, those simple moments bring balance, joy, and gratitude. They keep me grounded, give me room to reset, and remind me why home and the people who make it special mean so much.
